This wilderness hiking trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This is a long trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. All the water falling down from the sky makes Coffman Camp Trail a wet spot; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest.

Welches Creek is a good site to pop by. Soar down the rapids of Zigzag River in a kayak, and camping at Coffman Camp Trail is good fun, Mount Hood Village is a good local campground.
Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a good time. If you come at the right time of year, Sandy River offers some wonderful whitewater; Coffman Camp Trail is a pleasant site to camp, Bighorn Campground is a pleasant site. Lymp Creek is a great local stream, and a good location like Squaw Meadow here at Coffman Camp Trail is too magnificent to miss.
