This walk shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Even though this is not a very long backpacking and hiking trail it's always good to bring some emergency
    supplies, you never know what could happen. This is one of a very small number of backpacking and hiking trails in this neighborhood. Coffeepot Trail is on the short side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this backpacking and hiking trail delightful for the
average backcountry walker looking for an amusing adventure. There are plenty of backpacking trails in Oregon; each one of them has its own unique loveliness. The total elevation difference for Coffeepot Trail is 887 feet which is lower than average. Oregon has lots of outdoors pursuits. The beautiful hiking trails of the Blue Mountains are a really pleasant way to spend quality time in the outdoors. Delightful backpacking trails in Oregon are in abundance, and one of these is Coffeepot Trail in Wheeler County. This is a one trailhead trail, so in and  
out is the way to hike it normally. Coffeepot Trail is a location that is reasonably dehydrated typically; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and September is when it's the driest. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking and backpacking trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry walk. With its 1.8 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type backcountry walk. Through the summertime at Coffeepot Trail temperatures are frequently in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Coffeepot Trail tend to be in the 10's. This area does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.

All the outdoors cool things in the Blue Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. All our national parks are splendid locations to go to, and John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is no exception; a short tour to Bellwether Spring is always worthwhile.
Camping is available at Pine Tree Campground, and Honeymoon Creek is near Coffeepot Trail and is always a bliss to go to.
