    get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. During the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Coffeepot Trail tend to be in the 10's. These great outdoors hiking trails here in the Blue Mountains are a very nice
way to see these summits. Coffeepot Trail is 1.8 miles long it's a shorter type backcountry walk. Coffeepot Trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Coffeepot Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backcountry trail. Sometimes this backcountry trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Great trails in Oregon are in abundance; one of them being Coffeepot Trail in Wheeler County. You should count on this walk taking about 1.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Coffeepot Trail is a location that is relatively dehydrated usually; November is the month that gets the most rain, and September is the month with the least moisture.

This river is always fun. John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a very great location to visit right next door to Coffeepot Trail. There's so much to do here at Coffeepot Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Tree Campground is a brilliant site for that. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Blue Mountains has to offer. Bellwether Spring is a great local attraction, and needless to say Honeymoon Creek flows through this vicinity.
There's some flowing water close by, Owl Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here, and Coffeepot Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Fish House Inn is a nice local campground.
