out is the way to hike it normally. Coffeepot Trail is a location that is reasonably dehydrated typically; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and September is when it's the driest. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking and backpacking
trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry walk. With its 1.8 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type backcountry walk. Through the summertime at Coffeepot Trail temperatures are frequently in the 80's with nighttime lows in the
