the general area: This river is always fun. John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a very great location to visit right next door to Coffeepot Trail. There's so much to do here at Coffeepot Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Tree Campground is a brilliant
site for that. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Blue Mountains has to offer. Bellwether Spring is a great local attraction, and needless to say Honeymoon Creek flows through this vicinity. There's some flowing water close by, Owl Creek is a
stream you can explore while you're here, and Coffeepot Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Fish House Inn is a nice local campground.
