  Trails are splendid and plentiful in Oregon, and Coffee Pot Trail in Josephine County is one of them. Oregon is a fine location for outdoors people. Going for a trek here in Oregon is something that is always fun to do. There are numerous backcountry trails in Oregon, and each one has something unique to offer. The time needed for this trek is roughly 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. At parts of the year this neighborhood
    sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Throughout the summertime, highs commonly are in the 80's at Coffee Pot Trail, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally
in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Coffee Pot Trail. There's not much difference in elevation along the backpacking and hiking trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your hike. The total elevation difference for this backpacking trail is 1,310 feet which is about average. We all need to get out in the fresh air once in a while, and Coffee Pot Trail in Josephine County, Oregon is just the place. Coffee Pot Trail is a normal length backpacking and hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes  
it a perfect great outdoors hiking trail for the average person looking for a perfect adventure. A lengthy trip separates Grants Pass from Coffee Pot Trail, but it is a really great hiking and backpacking trail. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Coffee Pot Trail; December is the wettest month with most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Backcountry hiking here in the Coast Ranges is a fine way to explore these summits. This is one of a very small number of great outdoors hiking trails in this vicinity. Even though this is not a very long backcountry hiking trail it's always splendid to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry walk it just one way.

If you come at the right time of year, Grave Creek offers some great whitewater, and swing by Fall Creek it's a brilliant site to visit.
Take a side tour to Dry Creek, and Coffee Pot Trail is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Big Slide Campground is a delightful spot to camp nearby. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Coast Ranges has to offer. People from Grants Pass love to come to Coffee Pot Trail, and Whiskey Creek Campground is a pleasant campground nearby.
