Chimney Peak Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This backcountry hike should take you about 3 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. There are numerous backpacking

year is July. Backpacking here in Oregon is so much fun. Chimney Peak Trail is 19 miles long; it's longer than many backpacking and hiking trails.

and don't forget to have a look at Bloody Point since you're here. And that's not all there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park is a magnificent campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Canal Creek. Just can't get
enough of the Central Cascade Range. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Santiam River - Middle; Red Heifer Pass is certainly a splendid site to explore. Chimney Peak Trail truly is in the middle of a delightful
outdoors paradise. Gregg Creek is a nice local stream, and a tour to Chimney Peak Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at McNabb Falls. West Fork McQuade Creek is a nice spot to visit, and you have to certainly dedicate some time to Little Meadows while you're here at Chimney Peak Trail.
