whitewater spot in close proximity to Chimney Peak Trail, and Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park is a great local campground. What a place this is for outdoors people. Red Heifer Pass is close to Chimney Peak Trail and is a nice place, and since you're here, you could have
a look at Gregg Creek. If you came for an overnight stay Detroit Lake State Park is a fine site to camp, and a quick trip to West Fork McQuade Creek is without doubt a perfect idea. So many cool things in the Central Cascade Range, just incredible. You can run the rapids of Santiam River - Middle close to Chimney Peak Trail, and since you're here you have to go to Bloody Point.
