Briefly about the general area: What a site this is for outdoors folks. There's so
much to do here at Chico Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Out Post RV Park is a great location for that. A pleasant spree to Braham Meadows is a good way to spend an afternoon; you can stay the night at Kirkland Campground. Double Spring is a glorious local attraction,
and Little Elk Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. Some nearby water includes Davis Creek, and get dripping wet paddling on Grande Ronde River. A splendid spot near Chico Trail is Nells Canyon, and do put some time aside to spend at Elk Spring while you're here at Chico Trail.
