two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. This trek shouldn't take more than 7 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Cast Creek Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,784 feet, and that is higher

Zigzag Canyon is a great site to discover, and Old Maid Flat is a nice place here at Cast Creek Trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Zigzag River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Put some time aside to spend at
Ramona Falls while you're here at Cast Creek Trail, and Cast Creek Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Devils Meadow Campground is a great local campground. Having a great time at Cast Creek Trail is simple. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Sandy River, and naturally Short Creek flows through this vicinity. A visit to Yocum Falls will fill your soul with glorious feelings; a pleasant site to camp here at Cast Creek Trail is Twin Bridges Campground.
So many enjoyable things to do in the Central Cascade
Range, not enough time. Cast Creek Trail is not far at all from Hood River, and let's not forget Cast Creek which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay.
