If you come at the right time of year, Sandy River offers some tremendous whitewater, and Old Maid Flat is a perfect spot to stretch your legs a bit. So much fun stuff near Cast Creek Trail, definitely mind-boggling. Put some time aside to spend at Ramona Falls while you're here
at Cast Creek Trail; if you would like a little side tour, try Zigzag Canyon. Looking for some flowing water? Try Short Creek, and a visit to Yocum Falls will fill your spirit with brilliant feelings. There's so much to do here at Cast Creek Trail that you need to camp here
for a while, Twin Bridges Campground is a good place for that, and hey, Cast Creek is a wonderful local stream. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend
Zigzag River, and at Cast Creek Trail you always meet someone from Hood River. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cast Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Devils Meadow Campground.
