The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; night lows in the 20's for Camas Prairie Trail. A lengthy journey parts Hood River from Camas Prairie Trail, but hiking trails like these are brilliant. Trout Lake Campground is a pleasant campground nearby; float down the rapids of White River in a kayak. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back over and over. Cedar Creek is near Camas Prairie Trail and is always a bliss to stop by; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Warm Springs.
There's some flowing water close by, Bunchgrass Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay, and a spree to Camas Prairie Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Cold Spring. Stay the night at Lemiti Campground.
