way to spend quality time in the wilderness. Call Meadow Trail is a very long way away from modern life, and what a glorious location for backcountry trekking it is. At Call Meadow Trail during the summer highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the
30's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Call Meadow Trail plunge into the 0's. There are not too many backcountry hiking trails in this vicinity. Call Meadow Trail is a one trailhead hiking trail, so you'll
be backpacking it in and back out.
Briefly about the general area: Do set aside some time for Cabin Meadow while you're here at Call Meadow Trail. Beaverdam Creek flows through this neighborhood, and a short journey to Sheep Spring is always worthwhile. Not enough
hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Mountains. Why not camp at Rock Springs Campground while you're here at Call Meadow Trail, and R T Spring is always fun to check out. Don’t forget to take a look at Haystack Meadow since you're here at Call Meadow Trail; Crystal Crane Hot Springs is a fine local campground.
