Oregon hiking trails - Cache Lake Trail, Central Cascade Range, Jefferson County

   
  Tremendous trails in Oregon are in abundance, and Cache Lake Trail is one of them, and it's in Jefferson County. Here in Oregon backcountry backpacking is so much fun. Cache Lake Trail is not very close to Bend at all, but trekking it is always enjoyable. If you are in Oregon during backpacking season you have to go backpacking. These great outdoors hiking trails here in the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these summits. Every Oregon trail has something unique to offer. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Sometimes
    this backcountry trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. There's not much difference in elevation along Cache Lake Trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along
your backcountry walk. Even though this is not a very long backcountry trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. This is one of many hiking and backpacking trails in the surrounding region. During the summertime highs here at Cache Lake Trail reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Cache Lake Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Cache Lake Trail a pretty wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most  
of the rain, and the driest month is July. You should count on this backcountry trek taking about 3 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Cache Lake Trail is 4 miles long it's an average length hiking trail. This great outdoors hiking trail is a mid length great outdoors hiking trail with very little uphill walking involved which makes it a good hiking and backpacking trail if you're looking for an easy stroll or if you're bringing small kids. We all need to get out in the wilderness once in a while, and Cache Lake Trail in Jefferson County, Oregon is just the place. This hiking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Cache Lake Trail has a total elevation difference of 428 feet which is a lower than average number.

Having a delightful time in the Central Cascade Range is easy. Cache Lake Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is a good local campground.
