hiking trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end.
Briefly about the general area: Ramona Falls is an inspiring place to go to during your stay, and Burnt Lake Trail is
fine enough to spend more than a day at, Devils Meadow Campground is a fine local campground. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Here at Burnt Lake Trail there are plenty of people from Hood River, and hey, Muddy Fork is a pleasant local
stream. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. A short visit to Yocum Falls is always worthwhile, and a journey to Wind Creek Basin rejuvenates the spirit. Take a side spree to Lady Creek, and get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Sandy River.
Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Burnt Lake Trail. A good spot to take a look at in the vicinity of Burnt Lake Trail is Zigzag Canyon; Old Maid Flat is a splendid site to check out. You can run the rapids of Zigzag River near Burnt Lake Trail, and camping at Twin Bridges Campground is always a tremendous experience.
