Oregon hiking trails - Bull of the Woods Trail, Central Cascade Range, Clackamas County

    the Woods Trail, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, usually in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Bull of the Woods Trail. This is just one of a large number of trails in this area. Keep in mind that
this is a long great outdoors hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Backcountry trekking here in the Central Cascade Range is a really great way to spend quality time in the fresh air. Bull of the Woods Trail is 6.2 miles long it's a mid length backcountry walk. The length of Bull of the Woods Trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this trail perfect for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Different parts of Bull of the Woods Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backcountry hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it.

Briefly about the general area:
You definitely have to fancy the Central Cascade Range. If you came to camp Frazier Turnaround Campground is a great spot to do that, and there's whitewater on Collawash River for all you adrenaline junkies. It's a nice idea to visit Farm Creek, it's in the vicinity of Bull of the Woods Trail; since you're here, you could have a look at Peat Creek.
There's so much to do here at Bull of the Woods Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Skookum Lake Campground is a good place for that, and do set aside some time for Toma Meadow while you're here at Bull of the Woods Trail.
