Oregon hiking trails - Brown Mountain Trail, Southern Cascade Range, Klamath County

   
  When you're here in Oregon trekking along one of its backpacking and hiking trails is a good way to spend some time. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Brown Mountain Trail in Klamath County, Oregon is a really wonderful location to spend some time. Every Oregon backpacking and hiking trail has something unique to offer. Brown Mountain Trail gets a common amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls during November; July is the month with the least moisture. The total elevation difference for Brown Mountain Trail is 560 feet
    which is lower than average. Being 6.6 miles long it's a mid length trek. Brown Mountain Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. This is one of many backcountry trails in the surrounding
neighborhood. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Brown Mountain Trail get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Brown Mountain Trail temperatures drop to the 20's. Oregon has so much to offer nature lovers. Brown Mountain Trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry trekking it one way if you have someone to  
pick you up at the other end. The length of this hiking and backpacking trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this backcountry trail great for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. This region does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Backpacking and hiking trails like this one here in the Southern Cascade Range are a fine way to explore these peaks. Now this hiking and backpacking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. You should count on this hike taking about 5.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. It's a lengthy tour from Klamath Falls to Brown Mountain Trail, but hiking trails like these are wonderful. There are backpacking and hiking trails all over Oregon, and Brown Mountain Trail in Klamath County is one of them.

That right there is lots of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Saddle Campground is a great site to camp; Ichabod Spring is an inspiring place to have a look at during your stay. Rainbow Creek flows through this vicinity, and don't leave Brown Mountain Trail without first paying a visit to Muddy Spring.
If you're here at Brown Mountain Trail, you could stop at Dry Creek. Camping is available at White Pine Campground, and Daley Prairie is a fine place to stretch your legs a bit.
