Oregon hiking trails - Brown Mountain Trail, Southern Cascade Range, Klamath County

   
  Every single Oregon great outdoors trail is worth hiking. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Brown Mountain Trail in Klamath County, Oregon is a really wonderful place to spend some time. Brown Mountain Trail is a long journey away from Klamath Falls, but it is a tremendous shelter from the town. There's not much difference in elevation along the trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole trail. Now this backcountry trail is pretty long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip.
    You should count on this walk taking about 5.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Backpacking here in the Southern Cascade Range is a very brilliant way to see these peaks. This area does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for
any current fire restrictions before you go. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 560 feet which is a lower than average number. For the duration of the summertime here at Brown Mountain Trail, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. During the winter this spot gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Brown Mountain Trail are in the 20's. Being 6.6 miles long it's an average length trail. Here in the delightful state of Oregon hiking is so much fun. Backpacking  
here in Oregon is a must. Splendid great outdoors trails in Oregon are in abundance, and Brown Mountain Trail in Klamath County is one of them. Brown Mountain Trail is a two ended hiking trail with two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This wilderness trail is a mid length wilderness trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a perfect backcountry trail for experienced backcountry hikers in magnificent shape. This is just one of a large number of backcountry trails in this region. Brown Mountain Trail gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is July. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot.

Brown Mountain Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, White Pine Campground is a tremendous local campground, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Ichabod Spring. This site, the Southern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. Camping at Saddle Campground is always a delightful experience, and getting to Rainbow Creek from Brown Mountain Trail is painless.
A visit to Muddy Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings, and Daley Prairie is a charming site any time of year. Some nearby water includes Dry Creek.
