| | it's a long backcountry trail. Broken Top Trail sees pretty high levels of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most snow; July is when it's the driest. There's not much difference in elevation along the backcountry trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backcountry trail. This is a long trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Each wilderness trail in Oregon has its own unique prettiness. Pretty far from Bend you find Broken Top Trail, but it is a really magnificent hiking trail. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end,
so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. The total elevation difference for this great outdoors hiking trail is 498 feet which is a lower than average number. Going for a hike here in Oregon is something that is always fun to do.

the general area: So many fun things to do at Broken Top Trail, so little time. There's so much to do here at Broken Top Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Campground is a delightful site for that, and a brilliant location like Park Meadow here at Broken Top
Trail is too glorious to miss. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Broken Top Trail has to offer, you can camp at East Lake Resort and RV Parks, and a visit to Broken Top Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Squaw Creek Falls. Yeah, come up here
to the Central Cascade Range for a brilliant time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Deschutes River. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back time and again. Don't forget to take a good little visit to Crater Creek, and you have
to unquestionably dedicate some time to Dutchman Flat if you're here at Broken Top Trail. Visit Little Crater Creek while you're here at Broken Top Trail; a short journey to Soda Spring is always worthwhile. A good place in close proximity to Broken Top Trail is Happy Valley, and get dripping wet paddling on Squaw Creek.
