If you are in Oregon during backcountry backpacking season you have to go backcountry backpacking. A lengthy drive parts Bend from Broken Top Trail, but it sure is a a splendid wilderness trail. There are so many great outdoors trails in this area. There are plenty of wilderness hiking trails in Oregon; each one of them has its own unique attractiveness. This wilderness trail is a very long wilderness trail with an average amount
    of climbing distance which makes this a very tough great outdoors trail for advanced backcountry hikers looking for a nice challenge. This walk should take you about 2 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Broken Top Trail is 14.6 miles long; it's considered
a longer backcountry walk. This is a long backcountry hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This is a two-ended hiking and backpacking trail with two trailheads, so backcountry trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. These wilderness trails here in the Central Cascade Range are a really tremendous way to spend quality time in the great outdoors. At Broken Top Trail all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and the night is a little  
colder of course, frequently in the 40's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and night lows at Broken Top Trail throughout the winter frequently sink into the 10's. Wilderness trails for backcountry trekking, and backpacking can be found all over Oregon, and Broken Top Trail is one of them, and it's in Deschutes County. The total elevation difference for Broken Top Trail is 498 feet which is lower than average. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go backcountry trekking, it is a perfect way to spend some time. Broken Top Trail is a rather wet place frequently with a good deal of rain; through December this region sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. The backcountry trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry walk.

Briefly about the general area:
Happy Valley is a great place to discover, and obviously Little Crater Creek flows through this vicinity. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Broken Top Trail is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a splendid location to camp nearby.
Paddling on Deschutes River is so much fun, and Squaw Creek Falls is an inspiring spot to take a look at during your stay. Crater Creek is a stream that you may encounter during your stay, and do set aside some time for Park Meadow while you're here at Broken Top Trail. This place is so good, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do right next door to Broken Top Trail. Squaw Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; since you're here at Broken Top Trail it's a wonderful idea to check out Dutchman Flat.
That right there is heaps of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. A spree to Broken Top Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Soda Spring, and you can stay the night at Upper Campground.
