    down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Boulder Spring Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,575 feet which is about average. Some parts of this hiking and backpacking trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking and backpacking trail, so keep in mind that
you may need to dress differently at different elevations. You should count on this backcountry trek taking about 4 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This is one of a very small number of great outdoors trails in this area. Boulder Spring Trail is 4.6 miles long it's a mid length backcountry hike. There are plenty of great outdoors trails in Oregon; each one of them has its own character. Boulder Spring Trail is a very long way away from civilization, and it is an exciting place to walk. very little precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Going for a backcountry hike here in Oregon never gets boring. The backpacking trails of the Southern Cascade Range are a really brilliant way to spend quality time in the wilderness. The length of Boulder Spring Trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this great outdoors trail good for the average backcountry hiker looking for a cool adventure. Boulder Spring Trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be hiking it in and back out. Sometimes this great outdoors hiking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Even though this is not a very long great outdoors hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.

Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. A tremendous place to camp here at Boulder Spring Trail is Dairy Creek Campground. Camping is available at North Creek Campground, and don't leave Boulder Spring Trail without first paying a visit to Boulder Spring.
