Oregon hiking trails - Boulder Lake Trail, Central Cascade Range, Hood River County

   
  This part of Oregon has a fine deal of available outdoors pursuits. There are so many great wilderness trails for backpacking in Oregon, and one of these is Boulder Lake Trail in Hood River County. Boulder Lake Trail is a long trip away from Hood River, but backcountry backpacking along this backcountry trail is very enjoyable. When was the last time you got out in the great outdoors a bit? Boulder Lake Trail in Hood River County, Oregon is a fine place to go. This is not a very long great outdoors hiking trail but it's always great to bring some emergency
    supplies, you never know what could happen. Here in Oregon backpacking is something that is always fun to do. High temperatures at Boulder Lake Trail throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the
wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Boulder Lake Trail. Boulder Lake Trail is a one trailhead backcountry trail, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. The total elevation difference for Boulder Lake Trail is 196 feet which is lower than average. At parts of the year this region sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Being .8 miles long it's shorter than many wilderness hiking trails. The number of hiking and backpacking  
trails in this area is not very high. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly .5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Boulder Lake Trail is a very short great outdoors hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a nice hiking and backpacking trail for the average person looking for a nice adventure. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. All the water falling down from the sky makes Boulder Lake Trail a wet spot; throughout December this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. There's not much difference in elevation along Boulder Lake Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole wilderness hiking trail. The pretty great outdoors hiking trails of the Central Cascade Range are a fine way to explore these highlands. Every wilderness trail in Oregon has its own character.

Briefly about the general area:
So much fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just amazing. Get dripping wet paddling on White River, and Dam Campground is a nice local campground. You'll meet a lot of people from Hood River here.
It's always fine to explore Kane Springs; Boulder Lake Trail is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Nottingham Campground is a tremendous location to camp nearby.
