  While visiting this neighborhood in Oregon it's a splendid idea to go backcountry trekking too. Each one of the many backcountry trails of Oregon has something unique to offer. Time to get out, and breathe some fresh air, and Boulder Lake Trail in Hood River County, Oregon is just the place. This is not a very long hiking and backpacking trail but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Backpacking here in the Central Cascade Range is a very great way to see these hills. The number of trails in this vicinity is
    not very high. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Boulder Lake Trail usually gets much rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain while July
is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll must go far from Hood River to get to Boulder Lake Trail, but when you spend some time backcountry trekking here you will feel like a whole new person. The backcountry hiking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. There are many splendid backcountry trails in Oregon; one of them being Boulder Lake Trail in Hood River County. With its .8 miles of walking distance it's a short backcountry hiking trail.  
During the warmest time of the year at Boulder Lake Trail highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Boulder Lake Trail nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly .5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Backcountry backpacking in Oregon is so much fun. This wilderness hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 196 feet which is a lower than average number. This backcountry trail is a very short backcountry trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this trail delightful for the average walker looking for a cool adventure. This is a one trailhead wilderness hiking trail, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally.

Briefly about the general area:
Soar down the rapids of White River in a kayak. If you came to camp Nottingham Campground is a fine place to do that; if you're stopping by from Hood River, you won't be the only one.
So much cool stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too glorious to be true. There's so much to do here at Boulder Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Dam Campground is a perfect place for that, and a visit to Boulder Lake Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Kane Springs.
