Oregon hiking trails - Bottle Prairie Trail, Central Cascade Range, Wasco County

   
  Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the wilderness a bit, and Bottle Prairie Trail in Wasco County, Oregon is a fine location to go. Rather far from Hood River you locate Bottle Prairie Trail, but many people like to walk here to be near the wilderness. Backpacking here in Oregon is a magnificent way to spend some time. Sometimes this backcountry trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. The time needed for this hike is roughly 5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and
    some a bit faster. This is one of many backcountry hiking trails in the surrounding neighborhood. Through the long summer days here at Bottle Prairie Trail, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the
40's, and night lows in the 30's for Bottle Prairie Trail. Every single Oregon great outdoors hiking trail has its own unique splendor. The total elevation difference for this wilderness trail is 1,332 feet which is an average number. The length of this wilderness trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a nice backcountry hiking trail for the average person looking for a nice adventure. Bottle Prairie Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; December is when you get the most rain here while July is mostly the driest  
month. With its 5.8 miles of walking distance it's a mid length walk. There's not much difference in elevation along Bottle Prairie Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backpacking trail. Backcountry trails for backpacking, and backpacking can be found all over Oregon, and Bottle Prairie Trail in Wasco County is one of them. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Even though this is not a very long backcountry trail it's always brilliant to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. The wilderness trails of the Central Cascade Range are a really pleasant way to spend quality time in the great outdoors. This part of Oregon is always a bliss to check out during trekking season. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so backcountry backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back.

Briefly about the general area:
That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Bottle Prairie Trail has it all. There are plenty of people from Hood River here at Bottle Prairie Trail. Hood River - East Fork has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a short trip to Puma Spring is always worthwhile.
If you're here at Bottle Prairie Trail, do take a visit to Bulo Point, and Eightmile Meadow is a pleasant place. Places like Bottle Prairie are good to stop at, and Nottingham Campground is a good campground nearby. You simply have to have a thing about the Central Cascade Range. Station Spring is a beautiful place to check out while you're at Bottle Prairie Trail, and Clinger Campground is a nice local campground.
