  Finally, backpacking time is here again, and if you happen to be in Wasco County of Oregon, Bottle Prairie Trail is a magnificent local great outdoors trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. With so many outdoors endeavors available in Oregon you'll never get bored. A lengthy drive divides Hood River from Bottle Prairie Trail, but there's fine natural prettiness awaiting you here along it. Even though this is not a very long hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Glorious great outdoors trails in
    Oregon are in abundance, and one of those is Bottle Prairie Trail in Wasco County. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. The length of this wilderness trail is about average
having an average number of uphill miles which makes this backcountry hiking trail great for the average trekker looking for a cool adventure. Here in the great state of Oregon backcountry backpacking is always an enjoyable thing to do. This is a two-ended trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry walk it just one way. Bottle Prairie Trail is a rather wet location usually with a great deal of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. And keep in  
mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. Every Oregon great outdoors trail is worth backcountry backpacking. Bottle Prairie Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your walk. The wilderness trails of the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these peaks. Summertime highs at Bottle Prairie Trail typically tend to be in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Bottle Prairie Trail. The total elevation difference for this trail is 1,332 feet, and that is about average. This hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. There are so many backcountry hiking trails in this neighborhood. Bottle Prairie Trail is 5.8 miles long it's an average length wilderness hiking trail.

Briefly about the general area:
This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Why not pop by Bulo Point also if you're here. All year is a perfect time in the Central Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Bottle Prairie Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Clinger Campground is a great spot for that, and Eightmile Meadow is a glorious location to check out.
During your spree to Bottle Prairie Trail you'll meet some people from Hood River for sure, and Hood River - East Fork is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. Bottle Prairie Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Nottingham Campground is a good local campground, and a tour to Puma Spring will fill your soul with fine feelings. Places like Bottle Prairie are good to stop at; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Station Spring.
