hiking trail. Bonanza Trail is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is July. Bonanza Trail has a total elevation difference of 3,516 feet which is a higher than average number. The length of Bonanza Trail
is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this hiking and backpacking trail perfect for hard core backpackers looking for adventure.
Briefly about the general area: Some nearby water includes Lymp Creek, and drift down the rapids of Zigzag
River in a kayak. Why not camp at Bighorn Campground since you're here at Bonanza Trail, and why not take a little tour to Welches Creek if you're here. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Camping is available at Mount Hood Village; if you come at the right time of year, Sandy River offers some great whitewater.
