When you're here in Oregon backcountry backpacking along one of its backpacking trails is a brilliant way to spend some time. Hiking here in Oregon is a must. Bolan Lake Trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Bolan Lake Trail is 3.8 miles long it's a short wilderness hiking trail.     Josephine County, Oregon is such an excellent place. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. There are not too many wilderness hiking trails in this neighborhood.
Relatively far from Grants Pass you encounter Bolan Lake Trail, but many folks like to backcountry trek here to be near the outdoors. Bolan Lake Trail is a wet location that gets much rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Bolan Lake Trail has a total elevation difference of 563 feet which is a lower than average number. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Bolan Lake Trail highs are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime brings  
highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Bolan Lake Trail dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. This trail has two trailheads, so backcountry trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. The lovely backcountry hiking trails of the Klamath Mountains are the best way to enjoy these mountains. You spend the whole walk in roughly the same elevation zone which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. There are plenty of backpacking trails in Oregon; each one of them has its own unique prettiness. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. This backcountry hiking trail is on the short side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it an outstanding wilderness hiking trail for the average person looking for an outstanding adventure.

These mountains rock, just check out all the fun things to do in the Klamath Mountains. Camping is available at West Branch Campground, and you don’t have to go far from Bolan Lake Trail to see the water at Bolan Lake Dam. A great place close to Bolan Lake Trail is Kings Saddle.
People from Grants Pass love to come to Bolan Lake Trail, and if you haven’t been to Oregon Caves National Monument, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here. While you're here at Bolan Lake Trail it's a magnificent idea to explore Green Creek Meadow, and why not camp at Country Hills Resort since you're here at Bolan Lake Trail.
