Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the fresh air a bit, and Black Rock Trail in Douglas County, Oregon is a really fine place to spend some time. Every backcountry hiking trail in Oregon has something unique to offer. This is one of many backcountry hiking trails in the surrounding area. The length of this backpacking trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes it an outstanding backcountry hiking trail for the average person looking for an outstanding
    adventure. This is not a very long trail but it's always brilliant to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. At Black Rock Trail through the summer months highs are in the 80's.
For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Black Rock Trail. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 3.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Hiking here in the Southern Cascade Range is a really great way to spend quality time in the outdoors. This backpacking trail has a total elevation difference of 926 feet which is lower than average. Black Rock Trail is 4 miles  
long it's an average length backcountry hiking trail. You spend the whole trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backcountry hiking trail. Black Rock Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Backpacking trails for backcountry trekking, and backpacking can be found all over Oregon, and among these are Black Rock Trail in Douglas County. A visit to Oregon is not complete without some backcountry backpacking. A long journey parts Medford from Black Rock Trail, but it is one of many fine backcountry hiking trails in this region. This backpacking trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can trek it just one way. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.

Briefly about the general area:
Having a good time in the Southern Cascade Range is easy. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Copland Creek; Black Rock Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camas Creek Campground is a great local campground.
Camping at Buckeye Lake Campground is always a great experience, and if you're looking for a good tour, Crater Lake National Park is reasonably near.
