This is a two-ended great outdoors trail with two trailheads, so trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. temperatures drop down into the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Black Rock Trail. Black Rock Trail is a normal length backcountry trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a nice
wilderness hiking trail for the average person looking for a nice adventure.

then we recommend Copland Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Buckeye Lake Campground is a fine spot to camp. The vistas at Crater Lake National Park will blow your mind; why not camp at Camas Creek Campground while you're here at Black Rock Trail.
