Briefly about the general area: Having a nice time in the Blue Mountains is easy. John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a good national park, and getting to Owl Creek from Black Canyon Trail is simple. A trip to Black Canyon Trail wouldn't
be complete without taking a look at Hat Spring, and some nearby water includes Honeymoon Creek. Still Gulch is a pleasant location to check out nearby, and McClanahan Meadow is a great place. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Blue Mountains. You absolutely
have to have a thing about Black Canyon Trail. Why not camp at Fish House Inn since you're here at Black Canyon Trail, and a short visit to Saddle Camp Spring is always worthwhile. A brilliant location to camp here at Black Canyon Trail is Pine Tree Campground, and Honeymoon Basin is a nice spot to check out.
