someone, you can hike it just one way. The scenic wilderness hiking trails of the Blue Mountains are a very good way to see these highlands. The total elevation difference for this wilderness trail is 3,351 feet which is a higher than average number. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Pleasant great outdoors trails in Oregon are in abundance, and one of these is Black Canyon Trail in Wheeler County. Being 16.2 miles long; it's a long trail. Oregon is a nice outdoors state. All through the long summer days at Black Canyon Trail highs are usually in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter this location gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Black Canyon Trail are in the 10's.

All our national parks are delightful places to stop by, and John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is no exception, and everyone loves Honeymoon Basin. Hat Spring is always fun to check out; if you're here why not have a look at Still Gulch.
Owl Creek is a wonderful local stream, and do put some time aside to spend at Saddle Camp Spring while you're here at Black Canyon Trail. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Blue Mountains. Camping at Pine Tree Campground is always a great experience, and McClanahan Meadow is a great location here at Black Canyon Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Mountains.
You truly ought to love Black Canyon Trail. Some of the water close by flows, like Honeymoon Creek, and a fine location to camp here at Black Canyon Trail is Fish House Inn.
