There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to walk it normally. Beaverdam Trail is a very long way away from civilization, and if you're looking for a good place to go backpacking, this is a good selection. This is one of a very small number of hiking trails in this region. These hiking trails here in the Blue Mountains are a really good way to spend quality time in the great outdoors. Being 7.2 miles long  
it's a mid length backcountry trek. Around Beaverdam Trail you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and September meanwhile is the driest month. This is a wilderness trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. When you're here in Oregon hiking along one of its backpacking and hiking trails is something that is always fun to do. This area does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. The time needed for this trek is roughly 6.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This wilderness trail has a total elevation difference of 272 feet which is a lower than average number.

Dead Mule Canyon is in close proximity to Beaverdam Trail and is a splendid spot, and Hughet Creek is in the neighborhood of Beaverdam Trail and is always a diversion to stop at. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is bountiful here in the Blue Mountains.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Blue Mountains. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Dead Mule Spring; not far from Beaverdam Trail you get some perfect water scenery at Clemens Dam. Why not camp at R and L RV and Mobile Home Park while you're here at Beaverdam Trail, and don't leave Beaverdam Trail without first paying a visit to Finke Spring. Do set aside some time for Pine Knoll Basin while you're here at Beaverdam Trail; Beaverdam Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting.
A pleasant visit to Yellowjacket Field is a brilliant way to spend an afternoon; camping is available at The Timbers Inn and RV Park.
