know what could happen. The time needed for this trek is roughly 4.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. All through the warmest time of the year at Bear Mountain Trail temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. During the wintertime this spot gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Bear Mountain Trail are in the 20's. A tour to Indigo Springs will fill your soul with magnificent feelings; dropping by Crater Lake National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Bear Mountain Trail. Put some time aside to spend at Chuckle Springs while you're here at Bear Mountain Trail, and camping at Oakridge RV Park is always a great experience.
But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Central Cascade Range. You can run the rapids of Salt Creek in close proximity to Bear Mountain Trail, and a magnificent place to visit is Pioneer Gulch.
