Bear Camp Trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. You spend the whole backcountry trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking and backpacking trail. Bear Camp Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,022 feet which is about average. With its 3.8 miles of walking distance it's a short hiking and backpacking trail. Bear Camp Trail is not that long but it's always pleasant to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. This backpacking and hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 3 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.
