wintertime at Bagby Trail temperatures dip to the 30's. Bagby Trail is 5.4 miles long it's an average length hiking and backpacking trail. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp
fire. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking and backpacking trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Bagby Trail is not that long but it's always great to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. This
is an area covered with lots of backcountry trails. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Bagby Trail in Clackamas County, Oregon is a really great spot to spend some time. The high level of rain makes Bagby Trail a quite wet location; of all the months in a

A pleasant spot for
whitewater paddling close to Bagby Trail is Collawash River. Sluice Creek flows through this vicinity; Toma Meadow is a great spot here at Bagby Trail.
And that's not all you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. There's some flowing water nearby, Slide Creek is a stream
you can explore while here; if you came to camp Shining Lake Campground is a splendid site to do that. Clackamas River is a tremendous whitewater spot close to Bagby Trail. There's so much to do here at Bagby Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Skookum Lake Campground is a delightful location for that.
