which is a lower than average number. Bagby Trail is a hiking and backpacking trail pretty far from Hood River, but it sure is a a brilliant hiking and backpacking trail. At parts of the year this neighborhood sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and
fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. You spend the whole walk in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your walk. The length of Bagby Trail is about average with an average amount of climbing
distance which makes it a good great outdoors hiking trail for the average person looking for a good adventure.
Briefly about the general area: All year is a pleasant time in the Central Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors. You can run the rapids of Clackamas River
close to Bagby Trail; swing by Slide Creek it's a splendid site to check out. A wonderful site to camp here at Bagby Trail is Shining Lake Campground. Bagby Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Skookum Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground, and hey,
Sluice Creek is a pleasant local stream. Do set aside some time for Toma Meadow if you're here at Bagby Trail; there's whitewater on Collawash River for all you adrenaline kick people.
