Bagby Trail has a total elevation difference of 602 feet which is lower than average. The hiking and backpacking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Bagby Trail is a two ended hiking trail with two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This walk shouldn't take more than 5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Bagby Trail is 5.4 miles long it's an average length hiking and backpacking trail. Sometimes this hiking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Bagby Trail is not that long but it's always tremendous to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen.
