Get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Marion Creek. There's some flowing water nearby, Buck Creek is a stream you can stop at while here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bachelor Mountain Trail has to offer, you can camp at
Detroit Lake State Park.
Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Santiam River - North; everyone loves Bruno Meadows. Coming to this river is always a good idea. South
Fork Buck Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. There's so much to do here at Bachelor Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Tombstone Prairie Campground is a wonderful spot for that.
