If you came to camp Mount Hood Village is a pleasant location to do that, and get wet paddling on Sandy River. Take a side trip to Lymp Creek, and
Arrah Wanna Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer Tollgate Campground is a great local campground.
Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Paddling on Zigzag River is so much fun, and do pop by Welches Creek since you're here at Arrah Wanna Trail.
