Arrah Wanna Trail is a very long wilderness hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backpacking trail for advanced hikers looking for a brilliant challenge. Briefly about the general area:
If you came to camp Mount Hood Village is a pleasant location to do that, and get wet paddling on Sandy River. Take a side trip to Lymp Creek, and Arrah Wanna Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer Tollgate Campground is a great local campground.
Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Paddling on Zigzag River is so much fun, and do pop by Welches Creek since you're here at Arrah Wanna Trail.
