Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Now, this is roughly a 9.5-day trek, so it's a perfect thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. These wilderness trails here in the Toiyabe Range are a very splendid way to see these hills.

Briefly about the general area:
Sulphur Springs is an inspiring place to stop at while here, and Mohawk Pasture is a pretty spot any time of year. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Toiyabe Range will keep you coming back repeatedly.
A short journey to Coyote Spring is always worthwhile, and you can stay the night at Columbine Campground. Places like Dutch Flat are delightful to go to, and Kingston Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Toiyabe Range. Knox Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth taking a look at, and Cottonwood Canyon is also a tremendous location to explore.
Just can't get enough of Toiyabe Crest Trail. Take some time to go to Austin Ranger District if you're here, and why not a little side spree to San Juan Creek.
