always enjoyable. Gold Creek Trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backcountry trail for advanced backcountry trekkers looking for a tremendous challenge. Of course, this is an overnight walk, 1.5 days normally, so make
sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Nevada has plenty of tremendous backcountry hiking trails, and one of these is Gold Creek Trail in Elko County.
Briefly about the general area: That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Gold Creek Trail has
it all. Float down the rapids of Bruneau River - West Fork in a kayak, and West Fork Buck Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. Gold Creek Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Sawmill National Forest Campground is a wonderful local
campground. Everybody loves Bear Creek Meadows, and you might also want to pay a visit to Bourne Gulch since you're here at Gold Creek Trail. There's some flowing water close by, East Fork Buck Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here; Cottonwood Spring is an inspiring
place to check out while you're here. There's so much to do here at Gold Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Jarbidge National Forest Campground is a pleasant place for that, and a trip to Gold Creek Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Zenobia Spring. Paddling on Jarbidge River - West Fork is so much fun; if you're stopping by from Elko, you won't be the only one.
