This great outdoors hiking trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. Splendid great outdoors trails in Hawaii are in abundance, and one of these is Nualolo Trail in Kauai County. At Nualolo Trail during the warm days of summer highs
are in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 80's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Nualolo Trail fall into the 60's. This is one of a very small number of backcountry trails in this
vicinity.
Briefly about the general area:
Awaawapuhi Stream is a pleasant site to explore, and Puanaiea Point is close at hand and always great to check out. It's always nice to visit Hoolea Falls, and Kahuamaa Flat is a great place.
Don't leave Nualolo Trail without
first paying a visit to Waipoo Falls, and nothing beats kicking back at Honopu Beach. Nualolo Kai Beach is a beach close to Nualolo Trail that you can pop by; you're sure to come across some nice people from Kapaa here. Having a great time at Nualolo Trail is simple. Since you're
here at Nualolo Trail why not check out Mahanaloa Valley; close by you'll come across a wooded vicinity called Npali-Kona Forest Reserve.
