challenge. Mokuleia Trail is 10 miles long; it's longer than many backcountry trails. This is a backpacking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Some parts of this backcountry trail are much higher up than other parts of the backcountry trail, so
keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. The total elevation difference for this trail is 2,225 feet, and that is about average. This trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry trek it normally.

the general area: Hit the beach if you want, Mokulia Beach is practically right here, and obviously, A journey to Haili Gulch is always fun. Makaleha Stream is near Mokuleia Trail and is always a pleasure to have a look at, and Peacock Flat is a nice place here at Mokuleia
Trail. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Kelia Beach, and don't forget to stop at Kaiahulu since you're here. Take a little trip to Kapalaau Stream * while you're here at Mokuleia Trail, and some splendid nature is available in Mokulia Forest Reserve. All the outdoors exciting stuff near Mokuleia Trail will keep you coming back time and again.
