Hawaii hiking trails - Maulua Trail, Hawaii County

   
  Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Maulua Trail in Hawaii County, Hawaii is a really glorious site to spend some time. There are plenty of hiking trails in Hawaii; each one of them is different from the others. Outdoors folks generally like this part of Hawaii. This is one of a very small number of wilderness trails in this neighborhood. Even though this is not a very long backpacking and hiking trail it's always glorious to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. It's a lengthy trip
    from Hilo to Maulua Trail, but there's glorious natural prettiness waiting here for you along it. Maulua Trail is a quite wet spot generally with a lot of precipitation; April is when you get the most rain here, and September on the other hand is the driest. There are so many perfect
hiking trails for hiking in Hawaii, and among these are Maulua Trail in Hawaii County. There's not much difference in elevation along Maulua Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking trail. Hiking in Hawaii never gets boring. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Maulua Trail. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 70's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Maulua Trail temperatures fall to the 60's. And keep in mind  
that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 1.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This backpacking trail is a very short backpacking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a good wilderness trail for the average person looking for a good adventure. Maulua Trail is 2 miles long it's shorter than many hiking trails. The total elevation difference for Maulua Trail is 89 feet which is lower than average. Maulua Trail is a two ended backpacking and hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way.
