Hawaii hiking trails - Maulua Trail, Hawaii County       There are many glorious hiking trails in Hawaii, and one of those is Maulua Trail in Hawaii County. It's a long tour from Hilo to Maulua Trail, but it is one of many good backpacking and hiking trails in this vicinity. Hiking in Hawaii is a fine idea. The time needed for this hike is roughly 1.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. At Maulua Trail through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 70's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Maulua Trail plunge into the 60's. Maulua Trail is a relatively   wet spot mostly with much precipitation; most of the rain falls during April; September on the other hand is the driest. Hawaii has lots of outdoors things to do. Maulua Trail is a very short backpacking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a brilliant hiking trail for the average person looking for a brilliant adventure. There's not much difference in elevation along the backpacking and hiking trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek.
