Maulua Trail has a total elevation difference of 89 feet which is a lower than average number. This hiking trail is not that long but it's always tremendous to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. With its 2 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type backcountry trek. You spend the whole backcountry trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole wilderness hiking trail. This great outdoors trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry walk it just one way.
