in the 70's, and winter nights come with lows in the 60's to Lower Trail. You spend the whole walk in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole trail. Hawaii has plenty of perfect backcountry hiking trails, and Lower Trail in Maui
County is one of them. Hawaii is a glorious outdoors state. Lower Trail is 7.4 miles long it's a mid length walk. Lower Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip.

You are in close proximity to Wekea Point if you're here at Lower Trail. If you came
for an overnight stay Oheo Campground is a fine place to camp; if you haven’t been to Haleakala National Park, you ought to schedule some time for it if you're here.
