Briefly about the general area: A good location to camp here at Halape Trail is Nmakanipaio Campground, and close by you locate Kahele which is a brilliant place to take a look at. If you're here at Halape Trail, do take a journey to Halap, and a pleasant
visit to Ka Desert is a great way to spend an afternoon. At Halape Trail you always meet someone from Hilo, and a spree to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is recommended.
