This is not a public access hike and should not be advertised. The hikers will be trespassing on several different properties. Says Quintin
With its 7.6 miles of walking distance it's a mid length hike. Castle Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,794 feet which is a higher than average number. Keep in mind that this is a long backpacking and hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 6.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This backpacking trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to walk it normally. Different parts of Castle Trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the great outdoors hiking trail.
