National Seashore is a national park worth stopping at; Bear Valley is absolutely a good spot to take a look at.
Camping at Sky Campground is always a good experience, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Bear Valley Dam. During your stay at Woodward Valley Trail do take a look at close by Sculptured Beach; a tour to Point Resistance is always a splendid idea.
