Briefly about the general area: You simply must adore the Sierra Madre. Piru Creek is a fine whitewater spot right next door to Whiteacre
Peak Trail, and camping at Tin Can Cabin Campground is always a wonderful experience. The great folks of Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura like to hang out nearby, and Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is one of the destinations that are magnificent to pop by nearby.
Everybody loves Squaw Flat, and if you yearn for a little side trip, try Spring Canyon. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piru Creek, and a fine place to camp here at Whiteacre Peak Trail is Cow Springs Campground. These mountains
rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the Sierra Madre. Dough Flat is a great site; swing by North Fork Tar Creek it's a brilliant place to visit. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are really plentiful here at Whiteacre Peak Trail. Visit Elm Creek if you're
here at Whiteacre Peak Trail, and Squaw Spring is a beautiful place to go to while you're at Whiteacre Peak Trail. A short visit to Bucksnort Spring is always worthwhile.
