on Piru Creek is so much fun. If you wish for a little side spree, try Spring Canyon, and if you have the time, Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a national park worth taking a look at. You absolutely must adore Whiteacre Peak Trail. There's some flowing water
nearby, Elm Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here, and Cow Springs Campground is a delightful local campground. All year is a delightful time in the Sierra Madre if you love the outdoors. North Fork Tar Creek flows through this area, and a short journey to Bucksnort Spring is always worthwhile. Do set aside some time for Dough Flat since you're here at Whiteacre Peak Trail.
