The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 8 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. There are many fine hiking trails in California; among these are Whiteacre Peak Trail in Ventura County. Around Whiteacre Peak Trail you don’t get a lot of precipitation; February is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Whiteacre Peak Trail is a mid-length wilderness trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough wilderness hiking trail for advanced trekkers looking for a brilliant challenge. With its 9 miles of walking distance it's a mid length backcountry trek. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go.

Briefly about the general area:
Why not camp at Tin Can Cabin Campground if you're here at Whiteacre Peak Trail, and glide down the rapids of Piru Creek in a kayak. Squaw Spring is a lovely place to have a look at while you're at Whiteacre Peak Trail, and while you're here at Whiteacre Peak Trail it's a magnificent idea to go to Squaw Flat.
So many enjoyable things to do here in the Sierra Madre, too splendid to be true. You'll meet a lot of folks from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura here, and paddling on Piru Creek is so much fun. If you wish for a little side spree, try Spring Canyon, and if you have the time, Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a national park worth taking a look at. You absolutely must adore Whiteacre Peak Trail. There's some flowing water nearby, Elm Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here, and Cow Springs Campground is a delightful local campground.
All year is a delightful time in the Sierra Madre if you love the outdoors. North Fork Tar Creek flows through this area, and a short journey to Bucksnort Spring is always worthwhile. Do set aside some time for Dough Flat since you're here at Whiteacre Peak Trail.
