Warren Lake Trail, California     Recently tried to get to warren lake from the info you have posted frogs lake and coon canyon. Both of these location are not accessible due to private property. Says Tim Mathison The road to Trailhead 2 is posted at about 2.5 miles as PRIVATE and NO TRESSPASSING with a metal gate across the road. Says Anonymous I and a friend of mine made it to Warren Lake from Boreal and were able to complete the loop around Castle Peak (full 360 degree)in 8 hours,though I must admit it was a steady pace with plenty of gorgeous views along the way. Says Stuart O'Lena There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of backcountry backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. This walk should take you about 2 days, so it's a perfect thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. This backpacking trail has a total elevation difference of 2,381 feet which is an average number. Warren Lake Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Some parts of Warren Lake Trail are much higher up than other parts of the backpacking and hiking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations.
