Van Norden Campground is a splendid location for that. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Fordyce Creek, and if you came to camp Independence Lake Campground is a good spot to do that. Man, is there heaps of entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Coon Canyon
is a nice site to pop by close by; Burnt Flat is a great location to stretch your legs a bit. This place rules, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Warren Lake Trail. Upper Independence Creek flows through this area. A pleasant spree to Round
Valley is a fine way to spend an afternoon, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - South Fork.
