There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. Different parts of Warm Springs Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backpacking and hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Warm Springs Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,997 feet which is about average. Sometimes this backpacking and hiking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Being 4.6 miles long it's a mid length backcountry walk. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 4 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Warm Springs Trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
