it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Virginia Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking and backpacking trail. Summer at Virginia Trail arrives
with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Virginia Trail. Keep in mind that this is a long great outdoors hiking trail, so do pack enough food
to last the whole trip.

You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Cedar Creek Campground is a great campground nearby. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting
stuff just keep reading. Some close by water includes Alder Creek; you can stay the night at Alder Creek Campground.
Slick Rock Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and Water Gap Spring is always fun to check out. Don’t forget to take a look at Marshall
Meadow while you're here at Virginia Trail, and a short tour to Sandy Creek Spring is always worthwhile. Paddling on Kern River is so much fun; nearby you locate great places like Portuguese Pass.
That right there is a heap of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the
Southern Sierra Nevada has it all. Do set aside some time for Bear Dens if you're here at Virginia Trail, and Virginia Trail is not far at all from Bakersfield.
