We all need to get out in the wilderness once in a while, and Upper Winter Creek Trail in Los Angeles County, California is a good selection. Outdoors folks generally like this part of California. experienced backcountry hikers in perfect shape. This great outdoors hiking trail has two trailheads, so backcountry hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. For the period of the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Upper Winter Creek Trail.
For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 50's while Upper Winter Creek Trail nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 8.5 hours,
but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Upper Winter Creek Trail gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is February, and July is when it's the driest.

Debris Basin here at Upper Winter Creek Trail is too perfect to miss, and while you're here why not check out San Olene Canyon. Sturtevant Falls is a great local attraction, and there's some flowing water nearby, Rush Creek is a stream you can explore during your stay. Yeah, come
up here to the San Gabriel Mountains for a brilliant time. Why not camp at Spruce Grove Campground if you're here at Upper Winter Creek Trail.

you'll probably meet some people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana; obviously Winter Creek flows through this neighborhood. All the outdoors fun things in the San Gabriel Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Santa Anita Dam is a place that is in close proximity to
Upper Winter Creek Trail, and Chantry Flat is a perfect site here at Upper Winter Creek Trail. Camping is available at Hoegee Campground, and a visit to nearby Twomile Point is very relaxing.
