and again. Upper Winter Creek Trail is not far at all from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana. Not far from Upper Winter Creek Trail you locate Twomile Point, and swing by Rush Creek it's a nice site to take a look at.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Gabriel Mountains.
Winter Creek is a brilliant local stream, and a perfect place close by is San Olene Canyon. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do next to Upper Winter Creek Trail. Sierra Madre Debris Basin is a delightful site any time of year, and Upper Winter Creek Trail is fine
enough to spend more than a day at, Spruce Grove Campground is a fine local campground. Chantry Flat is a great site to stretch your legs a bit, and Santa Anita Dam is a charming location.
