for the average hiker looking for a cool adventure. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 2.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.

Ynez Mountains is so good! You should definitely explore scenic West Beach if you're here at Tunnel Trail, and Tunnel Trail is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Santa Barbara County Park Dept is a glorious site to camp nearby. If you yearn for a little side visit, try Angostura Pass.
