Madre is a really fine way to spend quality time in the great outdoors. With its 6.4 miles of walking distance it's an average length hiking trail. There are so many hiking trails in this neighborhood. During the months of summer here at Tinta Trail, high temperatures frequently
reach the 90's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's; overnight lows in the 30's for Tinta Trail. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate
zones along your backcountry trek. This is a two-ended backpacking and hiking trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. As long as you like the great outdoors you will like California.
