difference for this hiking trail is 600 feet which is a lower than average number. The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 5.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Tinta Trail is 6.4 miles long it's a mid length trek. Each one of
the many hiking trails of California has its own character. Great outdoors trails are splendid and plentiful in California; one of these is Tinta Trail in Ventura County. A long drive separates Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta from Tinta Trail, but it is a wonderful retreat from
the settlement. There's not much difference in elevation along Tinta Trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Tinta Trail gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls during February; the driest month of the year is July. This is a region
covered with lots of great outdoors hiking trails.
Briefly about the general area: You truly have to go for the Sierra Madre. If you're here at Tinta Trail, you could check out Oak Creek. There's so much to do here at Tinta Trail that you need to camp here for a while,
Upper Tinta Campground is a delightful site for that. A good place in close proximity to Tinta Trail is Brubaker Canyon; you can stay the night at Tinta Campground.
