Third Divide is a perfect spot to have a look at right next door to Third Divide Trail; it's a great idea to take a look at Empire Creek. This river is so great. Cannon Point Campground is a wonderful campground here; get yourself into a kayak and hit Lavezzola Creek.
If you came for an overnight stay Union Flat Campground is a glorious site to camp, and Third Divide Trail is a spot with many visitors from Truckee-Grass Valley.
