| | least moisture. Through the summertime months highs here at Third Divide Trail get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Third Divide Trail. general area: Empire Creek is a charming stream that is worth visiting, and get covered with water paddling on Lavezzola Creek. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pauley Creek; there
are plenty of people from Truckee-Grass Valley here. Be careful coming to Third Divide Trail, you might not ever want to go home again. If you came for an overnight stay Cannon Point Campground is a delightful place to camp; nearby Third Divide is a great location to go. Don't forget to take a pleasant little visit to Butcher Ranch Creek, and camping is available at Union Flat Campground.
