in each end which means you have the option of backcountry hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. The backpacking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your
hike. South Fork Trail is not very in the neighborhood of Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario at all, but many people like to trek here to be in the neighborhood of the fresh air. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Now this wilderness hiking trail is pretty long,
so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. South Fork Trail is frequently a reasonably dried up location; the month with most of the rain is March while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You should count on this backcountry hike taking about 6.5 hours,
but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. The picturesque great outdoors trails of the Santa Rosa Mountains are a very great way to see these summits.
Briefly about the general area: Blodgett Flat is a beautiful location
any time of year, and don't leave South Fork Trail without first paying a visit to Rattlesnake Spring. Alvin Meadows is a good site to check out, and a wonderful place to go to nearby is Willow Valley. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Santa
Rosa Mountains. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is abundant here in the Santa Rosa Mountains. South Fork Trail is a good site to visit for more than one day, Stone Creek Campground is a good site to camp nearby, and a journey to Milky Spring will fill your spirit with great
feelings. There's some flowing water close by, Strawberry Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here; Camp Maranatha is a great campground nearby. What a place this is for outdoors people. Coldwater Creek is a stream that you may run into while you're here, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario.
