California hiking trails - Slide Point Trail, Northern Sierra Nevada, Placer County

   
  Every California great outdoors hiking trail is different from the others. Hiking in California is so much fun. When was the last time you got out in the outdoors a bit? if you happen to be in Placer County of California, Slide Point Trail is a splendid local hiking and backpacking trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. At parts of the year this neighborhood sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Slide Point Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared
    for different conditions on different parts of the great outdoors hiking trail. Slide Point Trail ordinarily gets a good deal of rainfall; January is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture. Slide Point Trail is a two ended wilderness trail with
two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Backcountry trekking in California is such a tremendous thing to do. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Slide Point Trail, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Slide Point Trail dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This is an area covered with lots of hiking and backpacking trails. There are so many fine great  
outdoors hiking trails for trekking in California, and Slide Point Trail in Placer County is one of them. A lengthy drive divides Truckee-Grass Valley from Slide Point Trail, but many people like to backcountry trek here to be near the outdoors. Slide Point Trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The hiking trails of the Northern Sierra Nevada are a very magnificent way to see these mountaintops. The total elevation difference for Slide Point Trail is 1,512 feet, and that is about average. This hiking trail is on the short side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a tremendous hiking and backpacking trail for the average person looking for a tremendous adventure. Slide Point Trail is 2.4 miles long it's shorter than many great outdoors hiking trails. The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 2 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.

Briefly about the general area:
Having a nice time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is simple. Slide Point Trail is a perfect spot to camp, Sunset Campground is a perfect spot. Vista Overflow Campground is a good campground here, and paddling on Rubicon River is so much fun.
