Camping is available at Sentinel Campground, and Horse Corral Meadow is a good place to stretch your legs a bit. Lightning Creek is a great location to go to; a pleasant trip to Summit Meadow
is a nice way to spend an afternoon.
Camping at Sheep Creek Campground is always a fine experience; a tremendous place to pop by is Marvin Pass. And that's not all there is to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. You can run the rapids of Kings River - Middle Fork in close
proximity to Sheep Creek Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Deer Cove Creek. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great globe it would be. A pleasant location for whitewater paddling near Sheep Creek Trail is Kaweah River - Middle Fork.
