This backcountry trail has a total elevation difference of 32 feet which is lower than average. Sequoia Nature Trail is a one trailhead backcountry trail, so in and out is the way to hike it normally. Sequoia Nature Trail is not that long but it's always great to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. You spend the whole backcountry walk in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backpacking trail. Being .4 miles long it's a short backpacking trail. This hike shouldn't take more than .5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This backpacking trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.
