There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry walk it just one way. With its 6.8 miles of walking distance it's an average length wilderness hiking trail. Keep in mind that this is a long wilderness trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies.
