this site gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at San Clemente Trail dipping down into the 40's through winter nights. Sometimes this wilderness trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.
San Clemente Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk. Not much rain falls here at San Clemente Trail; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July.
