camp at Sterling Lake Campground since you're here at Salmon Lake Trail. That right there is loads of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - South Fork, and Cold Springs Campground is a magnificent local campground.
